“Kamazaki” knives, inspired by the masterful traditions of Samurai sword forging, are highly valued by top-class professionals and ambitious home chefs alike. They are made from innovative stainless VG-10 Damascus steel featuring 67 layers. This steel is exceptionally resistant to corrosion and extremely hard, allowing the blades to retain their sharpness for a remarkably long time.

The blades of “Kamazaki” knives are crafted from 67 layers of Japanese Damascus steel. The central layer of the blade, known as the blade core, is sharpened at an angle. The core is made from Japanese VG-10 steel, hardened to approximately 58±2 HRC.

The VG-10 core forms the 67th central layer and is protected by 66 additional layers of steel. These layers not only protect the more brittle core but also create the knife’s distinctive Damascus pattern and unique appearance.

All “Kamazaki” knives combine fine hand-finishing with exceptional precision. Perfectly sharpened blades provide outstanding sharpness, while the well-balanced weight of the knife helps reduce hand fatigue during use.

The Kamazaki knife is made from 67 layers of Damascus steel. It offers exceptional quality, outstanding sharpness and long-lasting durability. This versatile knife is ideal for slicing and preparing meat, vegetables and fruit.
